Garden Trellis Charleston
Stately Rose Pillar for Climbers & Ramblers
Old roses, as well as some of the English Roses of David Austin sometimes tend to look a little bit messy and disorderly. In her famous garden at Sissinghurst Castle Vita Sackville-West has just for this purpose created round structures, ca. 150 cm high and made from willow to lend those roses structure and support. A similar end is pursued by this unusual garden trellis from Charleston, South Carolina, where the famous Noisette Roses originated in 1819. The well-devised arrangement of its steel bands will induce roses to produce an abundance of young shoots with sumptous blossoms to follow. The delicate, fragrant blossoms are at the same time supported and structured in a sensible manner.
This Garden Trellis is made from 3.15” / 8 cm steel tubing and 0.79” / 2 cm steel-bands. Hot-dip galvanized and powder coated black. Pinecone finial cast in aluminium. The Garden Trellis must be firmly secured to the ground using a large steel anchor (provided) to be put into concrete. Please allow ca. four weeks for truck delivery.
