DUE-LEONI marble chimneypiece
This strikingly tall and imposing marble fireplace is actually made up of two visual elements: the marble fireplace surround at the bottom and an additional section above – the overmantel – which has a large opening intended to frame a painting, portrait or mirror. The DUE-LEONI marble chimneypiece will be produced for you in line with your specific design requests once you have placed your order. Our stonemason carries out this incredibly precise work by hand, right down to the smallest of design details. As a result, it is his craftsmanship, along with the structure of the stone, that gives this mantel its unique look, feel and finish.
When it comes to choosing the material, there are six types of natural stone that you can choose from when ordering your DUE-LEONI fireplace: five kinds of marble and a cream-coloured travertine, which is a type of natural limestone. If you have a different kind of natural stone or different colour of marble in mind, please talk to us, as other options are also available. Once we have confirmed all the relevant details (the size, material, design, price and delivery date of the fireplace) in a binding contract, the stonemason will get to work on your new marble mantelpiece. When it’s finished, we will deliver it to you from Germany using our own Classic Garden Elements van and driver.

Description
Antique-style fireplace made from real marble with double lion design
The statues of two seated lions are the highlight of this magnificent double-height period fireplace. These majestic figures keep watch over the fire from either side. Between the two lions is the opulent marble surround, hand-carved with intricate ornaments and delicate swags of flowers. As you cast your eye upwards, you’ll see two impressive columns framing the upper opening – a space that is simply calling out to house a beautiful painting or a sophisticated mirror. Equally splendid are the panels on the outer edges of the two columns, which frame the upper section of the fireplace mantel and add a sense of intrigue with their gently curved shapes and exquisitely fine, hand-carved details.
In the product photo seen here, this antique-style marble chimneypiece, with its majestic lions and columns, has been carved from a light cream-coloured white marble. This type of marble works especially well in combination with a coloured wall, as the contrast adds to the already eye-catching impact of the fireplace.
