Moorish-style fireplace surround
This Moorish-style fireplace looks as if it comes from an ancient fortress. The pointed arch shape of the fire opening is reminiscent of a Moorish window. The fluting makes the upward shape stand out more. Two implied rose windows emphasise the Moorish style of the fireplace, which is completed with a solid mantelpiece and an equally solid base plate. The heavily marbled stone emphasises the vintage look and is a particularly interesting choice for lovers of Andalusian Moorish architecture.
