Climbing Roses in a Flourish of Colour Trained on A Classic French Treillage Trellis

At the Rose Garden at l’Haÿ-les-Roses, near Paris, the art of cutting, training and tying the metre-long canes of numerous ‘Alexandre Girault’ rambler roses (Barbier,1908) has a long tradition.
